2012 Rainbow Royal Horse Show

Last weekend my mom took me to my first horse show... well, not really my first since my previous mom showed me in hand as a baby, but this was the first one where someone rode me! It was kinda scary and a little overwhelming. Mom said I did really well when I was trotting and pretty good when I was cantering...

...except for the flying lead change I did in one class. apparently that's a dressage thing that I'm not supposed to do when we're showing saddleseat... but I do beautiful tempi changes so I don't know why EVERYONE wouldn't want to see THAT!

Walking was a problem though. I HATE to walk. Walking is STUPID! It's SO much more fun to look around and watch the people standing outside the ring... and that's WAY easier to do if I'm side passing down the rail
:)

At the trot and canter I have to pay more attention... otherwise I'd trip over my own feet and that would be embarrassing and no one wants that. HeHeHe.

Cantering is the most fun! Sometimes I get to "canter" really, really fast... although apparently that's really called a "gallop" and I'm not supposed to do that in a class either. There are so many RULES in these silly horse shows. I'll have to try and remember them all better next time...

... but whatever. At least we had FUN!
